I'm 66 and looking for a better way to deal with my expenses towards prescription drugs. Please get me some information about the EPIC prog in NY.

Well, are you married? If you're married your annual income has to be below $50,000. If you're single, your earnings have to be less than $35,000 a year!

I thought I'd be eligible once I joined Medicare-D (the one with specific exceptions). Yeah, I know that the seniors who have Medicaid benefits in full will not be eligible.

If you're a senior with a moderate income, then you'd go for

the Fee plan.

In that case you'd need to bear a fee on a quarterly basis.

If you have a higher income than others you may go for the Deductible plan. You'd just need to satisfy the yearly deductible. Yeah, you must also check out the other conditions to be sure that it's the best offer for you.
