I was under the impression that the Blue Cross networks were bigger. At least in Connecticut Blue Cross Blue Shield has more doctors and hospitals than PHCS.
My husbands company was just bought out by a bigger company that carries the phcs, it is tough for us right now because there are no providers in our area because the company is new here, we are slowly getting some of them added to the network now.
However the vision benefit is one of the best we ever had, it has an 80% reimbursement, which is awesome. I am really happy about this part of the plan.
seems like it will be good once we get some providers in place, but hey somebody has to pave the way.
