Reversing an invalid claim (health insurance)

I am having a really hard time getting a claim reversed by Cigna that is not valid. Last Oct. they sent me a drug from their online pharmacy (Tel-Drug) in error. They charged the insurance company $562 which counts against my lifetime maximum. I called them immediately after I received the drug, and they told me to send the drug back (they provided the return label) and that the claim would be reversed. It is now July and the claim still has not been reversed. They do acknowledge that the drug was returned to them and I keep on getting the run around that it takes 15 days to reverse a claim. I would wait the 15 days, call back and the whole process would start again. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I mean, they received the drug back and they still got paid for the drug.

I would call them one more time, ask to speak to someone in management, explain to that person. this is the last call you are making to them. If you do not receive a letter from them within 30 days showing this has been removed from your policy you have no choice but to file a complaint with your states dept of insurance. And then do it! (all states have a Dept of Ins, and they all have websites with the instructions on how to file a complaint). Let us know if how it turns out and if we can be of further assistance.
