|

If you watch their 2008 presentation video, notice their computer equipment.
The computer monitors are CRTs and not flat screen. Flat screens have been out for several years and they don't even sell CRTs anymore.
That tells me either this video is much older than 2008, or they don't keep their equipment updated very well. Deceptive or not financially sound?
Just food for thought _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

Hi, has anyone else been as foolish as i to waste so much time & money on this unbelievable company. If you have not yet - be warned - do not! If you have (and are not too embarrased to talk about it), can you please let me know what you did to get paid. I worked almost 2 months for this company, paying out hundreds of dollars in training, lead costs, gas & hotel bills, with a good number of sales & they refuse to pay me a dime. I finally quit selling (no more money for the ridiculous leads) and needing a job that pays, and they said the only way R.J. will pay me is to sell more. Insanity is... Seriously though, they owe me several thousand dollars. Can any of you former scammed suggest to me how i might get paid? Thanks. _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

| I'm considering joining them. Why haven't they paid your commissions? What is their excuse? |

Now they are asking for $1299-$999.00 Also, they are tend to not answer questions about commissions as to final expense, annuity and long term care cases placed.
I would like to work for an "upright" type of broker in the insurance field in FL, AL and MS....ANY suggestions?? _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

Hmmmm this sounds familiar. My first sales job was with combined insurance co.and I was successful enough(Diamond Qualifier). car, gas, food, time, all on my tab(thats HUGE enough).Although leads were free, you made money on renewals actually, free paid training, and lodgeing when out of town. They have meetings every morning to share sales keys and such. The reason I left was simply a crappy way of life. Being a 100% commissions rep you really got to wonder where companies like this get off on treating you like you owe them something, like you're a high salaried employee with all the perks.I see the tell-tail kitchy "Levels of commission" stuff and "if you maintain this" or that if not go back to the little league?"That sounds rather demoralizing not to meantion a great way for youre superiors to soak your obviously hard earned commissions.Anyway with my previous experience I relized an interview wasn't necc. for me.The reason Im spending time on this blog is to share that over and over again looking for employment these low brow abusers are always hiring. BUT if you want to learn how to sell this is probably a great way to do it, like I did with Combined, door to door cold calling @100% commission. good luck out there:) _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

This is how it is with SHC... when you 'sign up', you are a captive agent. Not only that, you are not entitled to ANY, that's right - NOT ANY of your commission. That's right... when you sign up, you sign it over to them. After a month and selling many policies (they tell you in your training you are paid in a week), but Medicare policies start on the first of the month, so you can literally wait almost 2 months to start getting paid (so they tell you once you're out selling). Then after that, and you expect your pay, they decide to cut you off because you've signed it all to them before you've started, and there's not a thing you can do about it. Good luck! _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

Run as fast as you can, You will spend 1,000 to 1500 by the time you fly to Dallas and stay in a hotel, pay for your training. Then you will get the pleasure of working for about 6 weeks for basically nothing, maybe you will make enough to reimburse your gas money. Then you finally get where you are starting to have checks come in for a couple hundred a week. Then all of a sudden they decide that they think you are quitting so they don't send your check, because it is a loan, you haven't earned it yet. run fast!!!!!!! _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

I just got off the web seminar with Fritz. Thought it sounded pretty good until I got his e-mails with the REAL story minimum $599. for their training materials, cost of flying to Dallas, lodging and food. Then theres a charge of $18. per appt set, and if you don't meet their quota theres no leads at all. I DON'T THINK SO!!! _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

I am real concerned with SHC. I have searched for information on them and RJR, only to find a Rating with BBB. The only other information is only appointment in the corporation. Nothing in any insurance rating sites.
I have the Fritz e-mail with the information to move forward to the 2nd interview, but not one thing mentioned how SHC treat their staff and agents. It's all about making the SALE.
The information to this point tells me that SHC are only in it for the NUMBERS's. Get as many people selling with alot of turn over which only make more residuals for the management.
Final note: My opinion would be very cautious before putting your time in for this company, unless they become more tranparent with company information. If this company is as great as it is claiming, then why is there not any facts to find other that what they are saying.
This is not the first company I have seen run this way! _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

I am a senior manager with Senior Healthcare Consultants working out of the Dallas Corporate office. This website was recently brought to my attention. First off, I want to thank all who have commented here and I appreciate both the positive and negative comments posted.
This blog appears to be a fairly popular forum for discussion involving insurance for both consumers and the business entities that service this industry. As an insurance marketing company SHC would like to be a part of those discussions with you. I set up this account in order to allow members of our Senior Management Staff to respond under the same heading. The idea behind that is so that anyone reading this blog can be sure where the information is coming from.
We as an organization want to get better at what we do and how we explain things, your thoughts and comments will go a long way in allowing us to do that. I have set up an email address, for those of you who prefer to remain anonymous and wish to contact us directly rather than post your name on a blog. The goal with this is to take the necessary measures to ensure clearer understanding of our business. We will gladly, openly discuss any issues or questions you may have via this blog, but if you prefer direct email, you can contact us at shc_answers@shcmarketing.com.
I intend to get the answer to questions posted on this site or sent via email as quickly as possible, but please give me at least 72 hours to direct your questions or comments to the appropriate manager and respond.
I appreciate the opportunity to connect with you on this forum where we can join in a level of professionalism and bring clarity as well as address any misunderstandings and/or issues regarding SHC in an open and clear manner.
Thank you |

dont hold your breathe until you are reimbursed.
count on additional expenses and many broken promises.
They have a great plan... challenge honest people to work hard or be blamed for the lack of success. Make the system become eventually intollerable so that honest hard workers quit and leave behind a bank full of trail commissions for SHC management.
Dont drink the koolaid...please!!! _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

From the tenor of most of the comments on this blog it sounds like SHC churns and burns through its agents and to heck with the little old ladies who buy the policies. I was looking at their job ad and will definitely not apply with them. As a very experienced salesperson who has just moved to a new town I see a lot of red flags raised about this organization by the comments. THANKS to those of you who have raised some good questions! _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |
