I always thought past claims always showed up. It will still be best to just tell the truth instead of waiting and something bad happens, they find out you lied and then you are stuck.

Not always Fire, many many times, not until a new claim is reported is it researched..

Wow. Wouldn't it have been better to just tell the truth in the beginning when signing up for insurance rather than taking a chance. You would think they would have some kind of system in place that shows these things.
