Its been almost 6 months since house burned what should I do

No, if you are denied, you're denied, and they won't pay anything to you or your mortgage company. And no, this will not affect your contract with your mortgage company.

One of the things I really don't understand though, (among others, this claim is frankly a mess Rolling Eyes ). Who is paying this rent? Did you have to sign something that said, if they ultimately deny the claim that you have to pay this back as well? You have on your HO policy a coverage called ALE (additional living expenses), but there is a limit on this coverage, and I honestly don't understand how they are paying this, and then can or will deny the claim(?). Would you enlighten us on this part of your claim..how did this come about and what 'agreement' was there between you and your carrier regarding this?
