Depends on the amount of damage. The adjuster will see how much damage their is to each and from there determine the repair cost. Some adjusters will cut you a check on the spot. From there, you will need to call several roofers (and fence companies) to get their prices. Then you pick which one to use. If the estimates come back more than the check, you will need to contact the adjuster to discuss it. There usually isn't a problem though if that happens.

Well, that might largely depend upon the coverage explained in your policy. If you have a policy coverage that guarantees replacement of the damaged property, then you might get the roof replaced. However, depending upon the extent of the damages the adjuster may either decide to replace the roof or may repair it.

However, you shouldn't make any effort to repair the roof before the adjuster has a look at the damaged roof, but should take temporary measures to stop it from sustaining further damages.

Your questions have been answered to the fullest I'd like to add to make sure you get all the contact information for this adjuster...could very likely be an independent adjuster (cat. claims=lots of independents) if so make sure you get YOUR supervising adjusters information from this adjuster as well.
