| Jewelry is covered to a certain extent. After that and you would need to add a floater and have it specifically listed with a value. Speak to your agent about this. |

Hello Tulip, Tcope is absolutely on target. The jewelleries would be covered but only upto a certain limit under the homeowners policy. But, if you like them to be covered to their true value, you may need to add a floater to the HO policy.
Don't worry, the floaters generally are inexpensive but are great products to ensure your peace of mind. |

Contents coverage is generally blanket coverage so there wouldn't be any listing involved.
For theft jewelry is limited. For other presonal property perils it is covered up to the personal property blanket limit.
In addition to higher limits on theft, an inland marine rider for jewelry will often expand the perils insured against. Unless you already have a special personal property coverage rider.
Ask you agent about your specific policy and what a Jewelry inland marine will cost. |
