My Mother had Universal Life Insurance through ING until February 1, 2010. My Mother took out this policy in July of 1985. She is now 86 years old. She has been paying $20 premiums for 25 years, on a $25,000 policy, thinking she would have enough money to cover her expenses, in the event of her death. She still has the same agent that sold her the policy. He is 89 years old. I can't believe he never informed her that she should pay higher premiums in her younger years in order to avoid paying higher premiums later in life. She received a letter in January informing her she must pay $400 to keep her insurance in force. She has no equity left. Then she would have to pay $150 a month. How can an insurance company get away with this? My Mother worked until the age of 83 just so she could pay for her medications. There's no way she can afford this insurance now. Just when she really needs it. She is devastated! I'm unable to help her, since I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1977, at the age of 22. I am now searching for any kind of life insurance for her. I would more than greatly appreciate any information you could give me. Thank you, Kathy |

I had a 89 bucik century that was wrecked on dec 22 .....as a result the car was not towed in but was pulled to a friends house very close to where the wreck accored ....can the guy charge storage from the insurance company for each day it has set in his yard .....we was told he could please help ( this is in SC )

Hello...thanks for the comment. I'm STILL in the military..Army Reserves. I was Active Duty, at one time. Military career:(Active Duty) 1989-1992 Ft. Bragg, NC 1992-1997 IRR ( Inactive Reserves) 1999-ongoing Dubious, Pa (Army Reserves). I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003-2004.
