I have been offered a sales job with State Farm. I have a huge database of real estate contacts. I am terrified to leave my current job, but do think I can do this. I work hard, have tons of sales experience, speak Spanish, and work in outside sales now, so am organized, etc. What do you think? Thanks! Norma Perry
Thanks for the info. Here's the scenario. I was working and had insurance. I lost job and could not afford insurance. Insurance lapsed because of non payment. Insurance company notified state of Florida policy lapsed. State requested proof of insurance because of notification from insurance company. I could not comply, thus suspended license. I am now employed and shopping for insurance and companies are telling me a SR22 is required. I did not have an accident, DUI or any other type of violation causing suspension. My suspension was because I was unemployed and could not afford insurance.
I would point out that the IRS has changed the rules regarding 403(b) effective 2009. I would suggest that you may explore a qualified annuity as a way to plan for your retirement. Also, you may be in a state that allows you to roll over your pension when you retire. The advantage of this is you control your investment decisions. Something to think about. You may also be allowed to purchase additional years in your retirement system. My name is Peter Thomas. My Email is wall2000x@gmail.com. I have a great site at www.peterthomasinsurance.com You can own a site like this for only $9.95 per month hosting fee. Use the promotional code 00040036. Depending on the state I can get you a contract offering 105% commission. Please feel free to contact me.
"Lots of companies consider careless and reckless driving infractions as a major violation, as opposed to a minor violation such as blowing a stop sign. GEICO is mostly a preferred risk insurance carrier, with higher risk tiers in many states (If anyone knows this, please comment), so they may no longer consider you a preferred risk anymore. "sorry for being stupid but, i didnt quiet get itcan u xplain more please... .... i pay my insurance monthly so i will not see increase right
The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but just take the warning labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself.
