I am proud to announce that my professional blog at work has been honored as one of the Top 50 Insurance Blogs in the U.S. for 2008 by the Insurance Law Library. Woo Hoo!! :D I don't get anything except a wall plaque and the ability to use this cool html graphic on our website, but it's still pretty slick! Kind of validates what I do! Oh yeah, I am the hero at work right now, that'll last about a week. :roll:
In one way, I feel that I have to include all of the posters here at AMPM in this as well. This forum keeps me sharp, keeps me thinking and allows me to go beyond the job and help those who need it.
Thank you all for your support in this forum, and I appreciate the knowledge, sympathy and expertise that all of you exhibit here. Our "customers" truly need what we do, and I will do all I can (given the small amount of free time that I have) to continue to be a key contributor to this needed website.

You know, after I posted this and wandered around the web for awhile, I came back and read it again. I didn't want to sound like I'm tooting my own horn, but that's the way I think it came off. So, sorry 'bout that. I try as best I can to separate work from AMPM, but I got so excited when I read the email about the award, I had to tell someone outside of work and family.

I'm sure given your passion and dedication to our industry that you 'should' probably be the number 1 blog...

I'm sure that your blog will soon top the list. As Lori has said its a great achievement since the net is thronged with zillion of insurance blogs and securing the 50th position amongst them is a big feat.
