I have boats both in Florida and in South Carolina and I spend 4 months in Florida and the rest of the year in SC. Can I get a single insurance policy for both the boats at both the places?

You can get that provided the boat insurance company you choose has the license for both the states. You need to disclose the navigational areas on your application.
