A great deal of products look the same and have the same bells and whistles. However, their coverage form can vary. If you give me the carrier names I will let you know who's the better between the two. If neither are great I can recommend some co's.

Know all the policy terms before you sign up. Read through the papers. If the policy exclusions seem less, read through the entire policy (sometimes the exclusions are spread all over). Also inquire about the carrier's settlement history.

A carrier's goodwill definitely plays an important part! Look for success stories. These days, there are numerous forums and other websites that offer online reviews.
