Can you get a life insurance license with a misdemeanor?

I was convicted and found guilty of of DUI in 2011. Since then my record is clean. Can I get a license to sell life insurance?

Probably. We don't know more about your background, but if that's your only transgression in life as an adult, it should not be a problem. But you must disclose the conviction, or that failure to disclose will be a definite problem -- worthy of "capital punishment" -- the loss of your license. Without it you cannot sell insurance and will starve to death without other employment
