I couldn't find the rules for the forum, so please let me know if I'm breaking any rules.
I'm not selling anything, but I'm looking to validate the idea I have: Property Risk Assessments. An Agent would be able to enter an address and generate a report detailing the possible risks of earth movement, hail, severe wind, flooding, etc. The report would break show average frequency, magnitude, and property damage of each peril.
The value to the insured is a quantified breakdown of past risk factors. They can make sure they're covered appropriately and with the right limits as you're consulting with them.
For you, the agent, I'm imaging two value propositions. 1) A hard copy report you can provide to real estate agents, clients, or anyone for lead generation. This would help you stand out among your competition. 2) A website widget you can embed into your own site that would provide these reports to visitors while collecting their email address to generate leads.
I'd like to know your thoughts on the value of such a service.
