Are you looking for people to do paperwork or are you looking for people to actually do sales. I do have some ideas that I can share with you depending on what you are looking for exactly.

Because of the fact that you have not specified any line of work for the employee that you to hire, then i can suggest some of the general points on what are the qualifications of a deserving staff.

Maybe the first thing that you can consider is experience. In your choosing a new staff, experience in the field is very important. The more experienced the person, the more competitive he or she may become. This is a general rule in recruitment. The second thing that you may consider is the education. It is a general fact that a well educated worker can work well with lesser supervision. And with regards to personality, he or she must be very flexible, especially if he/she will be assign in sales. The person should be highly motivated and goal oriented. You can give examinations that can check the level of competence and decision making of the person. This can give an overview of his or her decision making potential. This is very important in every work; the initiative of a person can make a great contribution. Even it is a simple office work, a person with initiative can provide a difference compared to those that are waiting for orders.

Yes , I would rather suggest you one more thing. You can chose some people who prefer to work from home... Try temporary staff for initial... Preferably people working from home mite do as well.... More imp is going for guys who already have an Exposure in areas such as E Commerce , Web Designin, Network Marketing...

Be brutally honest with those you speak with about a career. I recruit and train associates for Aflac, in the Greater Tampa Bay area, and find that we get a lot of applicants who are under the impression that they can make a ton of money in insurance without a lot of work. I let them know that the former is true while the latter is not. If they are willing to work as hard for themselves as they ever have for someone else, we will entertain giving them an opportunity to do so. However, if they are looking for an easy way to make a quick buck, we send them on their way.

So, to sum it up, here's my advice... The more truthful you are with candidates, the better off you are. Don't waste your time on people who will gladly do that. If they aren't serious about the necessary commitment, you can easily scare them off. If you can't, you probably have a good one! In other words, be selective. Fail the failures fast, so you have time to devote in developing the winners.
