I was wondering if anyone is still carrying Allstate as one of their companies. If so, have they updated completely to web base or are they making you still use a dos based. Since they are such a big company I would think they could completely move to a web base for the agents. Especially, since the direct site is very well put together.
Hi Agent Clint,
I am little bit confuse of about web base and Dos Base please can you explain what thats mean?

DOS-Acronym for disk operating system. The term DOS can refer to any operating system, but it is most often used as a shorthand for MS-DOS (Microsoft disk operating system)
Allstate's interface for changes, payments, and endorsements(agents system) is on a DOS operating format that you connect through Citrix with. They have not completely changed to the web based(the Internet)
Yes "Agent Clint" web based is simple and easy to navigate then dos base. _________________ I am and always will be a sinner. But that's the beautiful thing about Jesus. Just going on what I have been told, I don't know anything about Allstate's system as far as their agents selling or making changes and what not, however to answer your question in the topic headline, I believe Allstate agents are all captive.
