The answer to this question is yes. I have noticed people have been having some problems with these so called internet leads. I just want to let all of the forum members know that I found a great source of leads and they are much cheaper than anything else I have seen. The service is call live transfers and the company that provides the leads is called Transfer Guru. They only charge you $15 per live person they send to your office or whatever phone you wish to give them. The nice thing is that these are people that have listened to a pre-recording message and are interested in getting better insurance rates. Give them a try, we have had some great success with their services.

Yupp, thats quite true my friend!

Do you wish to say that the conversion rate is better? Do I really get a customer out of every two prospects ?? Please explain!

Hi INS123,
Its good to see that you have a proposal about 'Quality Leads'. I think by quality-leads we mean the mid-economic customer segment. These databases are truly costly in the market. But yeah, you need to be sure about the procedures of survey conducted by the research analysts at those data-research centres. But yes, the proximity of hitting the right segment varies with time & the nature of the product.

Thank you for the kind words INS123. Thermal-precipitator, you cannot put our leads in the same category as the $5 internet leads that 15 other agents are calling upon. We transfer an interested prospect that has spent 30 seconds to listen to the agents message and offer. They press 1 and then are transfered in real time to the agents office phone or call center. We offer a 20 second guarantee that insures you are only paying for truly interested prospects. For example if a prospect presses 1 and says " take me off of your list " you are not billed for that transfer. So, when you compare a lead of this calliber to a churned internet deal, your closing ration will go way way up with our service. Just ask Allstate, Geico, UnitedHealthcare and over 400 independent agents throughout the US.

By quality leads are you talking a new customer data base? or insurance company database?

Dean - if you are targeting RESIDENTIAL numbers with a pre recorded message isn't that illegal these days?

There are real specif rules on DNC and pre recorded messages - do you provide something in writing so the individual agent is not liable for any violations of DNC rules?

What ever happened to down-home prospecting and getting referrals from your existing clients? Have I been out of the sales arena for so long I've forgotten something?

TXINSURANCE- We get this question all of the time. We strictly follow the DNC's guidlines and do not call consumers that are on the DNC list. Before any of our data is loaded, it is scrubbed. There are certain area codes that are off limits, and we do not call these areas. Most of our larger clients use our service to target their own databases of opt in customers, but we have had huge success with our own database.

These are the HOTTEST leads on the planet and they are absolutely FREE!

It's true you get what you pay for. I use a company that runs about $14 per lead, but you can choose your demographic. If you want to check them out, google "lead concepts"
