Internet insurance leads for me. I sell p/c and life. And rewarding existing clients when they refer their friends and family leads to more referrals.

I RECENTLY GOT AN HHR PANEL TO PUT A VYNAL WRAP ON. THE WRAP INCLUDES MY AGENGY'S LOGO, MY NAME, AND MY PICTURE. IT ALSO HAS MY SLOGAN "AGENT CLINT LISENCED TO PROTECT." THE VEHICLE WILL BE COMPLETELY WRAPPED. I WILL HAVE IT DONE THE 12TH OF THIS MONTH. I WILL POST PICTURES WHEN IT IS COMPLETED.

HOPEFULLY IT WILL BRING IN SOME BUSINESS. IF NOTHING ELSE PEOPLE WILL KNOW ME AND TALK ABOUT ME (GOOD I HOPE.)

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

I AM PICKING MY CAR UP TODAY WITH THE VYNAL WRAPPED INSTALLED! HOPEFULLY I WILL LIKE THE RESULTS. I AM PLANNING ON HAVING IT AT LOCAL CAR SHOW TO PROMOTE MY NAME AND AGENCY.

Hi Clint,
I have had a successful direct mail campaign running for quite some time that has provided me with a pretty good flow of incoming leads. I have done this with compiled new homeowner information for my direct mail list. I am currently thinking about switching mailing list providers to a company called keepyourcustomers.com - their website is just that keepyourcustomers.com. They say they have many clients in the insurance industry (and I believe that because they certainly understand what I am doing).

You have to already have a mail piece together but you buy lists through them to mail to new homeowners weekly or monthly. These people respond pretty well because they have just taken on more risk with their recent home purchase and need to offset that risk with more insurance. This has worked well for me for life, disability and mortgage protection offerings. You can order names based on county or the zip codes you cover. I use stamps.com and mail directly from my office.

If you have other questions, please ask...but you are going to have to write your own mail piece. :D To start with you may want to do a few and monitor which gets a better response. Good luck with the car vinyl.

I am glad to hear that this method works well for you. I hope to explore all of my marketing avenues to the fullest and could definitely use this for some of my mail campaigns. I work in the senior market and I realize that it is a little different than selling other lines of insurance.

Over the last fourteen years I have tried just about everything that is available. Telemarketers, direct mail, snail-mail, ads, internet leads, etc.

The only thing that has consistently worked for me is cold calling seniors from a list of names, addresses, birth dates and phone numbers.

Virtually everyone approaching 65 or over 65 is a "qualified buyer" for at least one or two different senior products, Med Supp, PFFS, PDP, final expense, LTCi, etc.

Just because I call someone today and they say they aren't interested that doesn't mean that a year or two from now they won't be. I routinely sell insurance to people I have contacted 6, 12, 18 and even 24 months ago.

I log every lead I receive, all relevant information about that person and put in a next contact date.

This approach may not work well with other lines of insurance but it has been a great money maker for me.
