Your comments are very much appreciated. Your ideas will help me to improve my company.



It seems like the most common complaint is that the leads are resold too many times. That is one of the reasons that I started generating my own leads for my agency. After I got good at that I decided to sell leads to companies like NetQuote. Soon I will be selling the leads directly. They will be exclusive and will be the same quality of the leads that my son and I use to build our business.

My experience with internet leads has been pathetic. Quotesauction (they just changed their name to Insuranceleads.com) sent a lot of leads that had a lot of information but none of the potential clients really wanted insurance quotes - they were responding to a "register for a free gift" type internet ad.



Prestige Management contacted me about leads. I did a Google and saw that they were listed many times in "rip-off" postings.



I have spoken with other agents, both my company and outside, and none have had much luck. One individual, who didn't want to tell me the company he used said he did pretty well, but he also paid upwards of $15.00 per lead - with a purchase minimum of 50 leads at a time.



I'm still looking though!

I have been selling leads directly to insurance agents for the last 5 years and been involved in Internet marketing for over 7. The problem that most people forget is that lead generation is based off of consumer impulse. The only true Internet lead that works is one that includes a verification call to the consumer.



If you can not hear the consumer expressing a clear interest in receiving a quote you might as well be cold calling. Only a few aggregators offer this feature and only one does this with live human contact. Other lead vendors in the market are using IVR technology which is nice but no body likes computer calls thus making volume a major concern.



If anyone is interested in starting their own generation team or would just like some good leads that can be closed feel free to call me. I won't sell you just educate you on internet leads in today's market. 720-842-7106 or call into 800-754-9311 ext 106



FYI - Things to remeber

There are only 3-4 major marketing companies generating these leads eveyone else is just buying data.
