I like to take my wife and kids out to dinner or places when I am down and out. Get me pumped and motivated...that and watching "Biggest Loser"!

Plastic..that means you actually get convinced when your prospect ask you questions regarding your product. It reflects his interest in your product that you've been able to generate.

Ya I do it too. It really helps. I play with my boy everyday after finishing my work Very Happy It's the best way to refresh yourself. You forget stress, work problems, etc. etc.

Hey All

I've never sold insurance policies, but I believe a pat-on-the-back for a good job done would also help. I guess you can think of the time (or times Smile ) you got a good rating as an agent and inspire yourself to get a call converted again.

It really helps me as I get closer to the trial close. The customers often don't realize that I've sold them something. The sale seems so smooth when the customer has the product knowledge at the end of the call. It's truly satisfying to know that you've served someone to his expectations.

Well said Sil. Pat-on-the-back especially from your boss makes a lot of difference. It boosts your moral.

It's really hard to get pats from the boss these days. It takes a lot to satisfy them. Some would work for more hours while the rest would complete more tasks within a short time. In the end, your hard-earned pat on the back would give you a lot of satisfaction.

May be recession is affecting in negative way. Bosses are not satisfied with the results. Well, u can;t blame them till certain extend. They have a business to run & survive in the market. No matter what you've to keep cool & work hard. Someday or the other Bosses will notice your efforts.
