It depends on who you actual are working under. If you don't buy the leads you get b and c leads that have been worked and are old.
The initial training is good. I think you are going to get alot of mixed responses on NAA.
Google them and you will see what I am talking about.

sorry i wasn't logged in the first time.

IMO, apart from a good company name, there are few other things that a new agent should consider. The fiat and foremost important factor is whether or not he is receiving good on-field training, what other supports that the company offers to the new agents to firm their foot on the business.

Well, NAA seems to be a good place to begin, however, I agree with Jeremy.

Regarding National Agents Alliance, you're required to buy the leads and each lead costs handsomely. Hence, you should weigh your pocket before committing for it.

National Agent Alliance requires you to build your own chain of agents. However, initially you'll be reporting to a NAA manager, and Tte leads that you'll purchase, will also come through the manager.

I know this may sound elementary, but what does IMO stand for?

Its not elementary my dear Watson....you can ask anything that may sound different to you.

However, IMO stands for In My Opinion. These types of abbreviations are quite common in the online boards.

Hope I clarified :D

Juanita

Congratulations RK on passing the exam. I guess you are in a good company. But apart from being part of it, you should also develop the skill within you. I know insurance companies offers trainings and seminars. Learn and be successful on your chosen career.

NAA, recycled leads and 55% commission contracts. You can do better, if you can't, learn what you can from them and move on.

Find a reputable agent/agency locally and cold call them for a position. Make sure you own your business wherever you go.
