Thanks Lori,

AWESOME new guide! really! very easy to navigate

That's music to my ears!

My primary goal was to make the blog "easy to navigate".

You may want to go ahead and start your blog, we are getting backed up in the uploading department, but we may have room for just one or two more.

Couple questions about our personal blogs.

1. So far mine is not displaying an adsense. I have my code in my profile but did not see anyplace to manually insert it in the blog myself so assume this is something that must be done on admin side of things.

2. I noticed that the new improved blog has RSS feeds and would like to suggest this be added to individual blogs. Currently I have my blog added as a menu link to my news site but with an RSS feed from my blog I could Syndicate any post straight to the news site thereby keeping it updated at the same time.

I may have overlooked this but did not see the option to add that.

Have you activated the "Adsense Deluxe" plug-in? It makes it so much easier. You can add as many "ads" as you like and the plug-in generates a "post slug" that you can copy and paste into the text of your page.
Do you mind if I take a look at your blog? What is the address?

I will just have to give you a John McCain answer on this one - I will neither confirm nor deny that.

It's very obvious that you have more blogging experience than I do. My first priority is getting blog content in blog categories so I will have something to submit to blog directories and search engines. I just haven't been concerned with RSS feeds at this point. Have you asked Lakemen this question?

Sorry, but you will have to understand that just about two years ago I knew how to turn my computer "On" and "Off".

 I've been online since 1977 and love every minute of it but as rapid as all these programs and scripts change we all stay "behind" so no worries there. Here is the link to my blog
AMPM Blog

and I'll give you the link to my site as a demo of how I currently have it set up for the blog but if that is not ok just remove it
Megaphone News

The reason I bring it up at all is that I am sure many here probably have their own sites also. And by using RSS feeds headlines from their blogs could be displayed on their sites as "news or site related items", thus possibly getting some built in traffic to their blogs from their own sites.

Would seem to be an excellent thing for both the blog owner and AMPM since the idea is to get the blogs as many views as possible.

You can see how they might be displayed on individual sites by looking at my news site. All those "headlines" that you see in different positions are from RSS feeds from different sources.

Hi mega,

I looked at your web site with blog and your ampminsure.org blog and I like them all.

The RSS feed sidebar widget in most of the blog templates work exactly the same way.
