Because they aren't 'Mama's'...It's an engrained trait..we're hardwired for it....you have to be when you mother children...you on the other hand are hardwired to provide and protect....you need to be focused on one task at a time to do that...(IMO humble most certainly)...that's why there are 'two' of us...(in a perfect world of course)...
When my ''babies'' were still young and home, I could cook supper, check homework, do laundry, talk on the phone, balance a check book, and spank a butt all at the same time.....it's just a gift (or curse) from God...
