New Insurance Experts Corner

Just wondering if any of you insurance experts are getting any questions through the Insurance Experts Corner.

If so, will you share some of the questions with the rest of us? 8)

I don't know that I have gotten any, but how would I really know? They just come thru as a PM right?

That's the way I understand it. I clicked on Insurance Maze and it took me to my home page. I really expected it to be more than that, maybe a separate "expert" forum or something.

Hi InsMaze,

The purpose of introducing the Insurance Experts Corner wasn't to increase the number of forum discussions rather to highlight the insurance professionals who are associated with our community. Often times the visitors like to pursue their cases in private and are reluctant in posting their personal information on board. This interface would allow them to negotiate their cases with an expert without posting it in the forums. IMO both the member and the expert can be mutually benefited from their private interactions.

This is only the initial step towards constructing an entire section devoted to the insurance professional and I'd say this is only phase-I. In the future we can even see the ‘insurance experts forum' coming.

I think there is also a confusion why the link in the Insurance Expert Corner is leading to the member homepage. This is because the member wanted to reach out to that particular expert and homepage should be the ideal landing page. The homepage reflects the contribution that the expert has made to the community.

Thanks,
Lakemen

Hi Lakemen,

OK, that all makes sense to me. I think that anything we do to improve this insurance community is a positive.

I have a couple of questions:

(1) In our roles as community members, what is the difference between a "Community Consultant" and an "Insurance Expert"?

(2) How is it arranged that we always have 18-25 "guests" on the forums at any particular time?

You may check the qualifying criteria over here

Guests are the non-registered members who are viewing our site at a given point of time. It's a real time data as detected by our system.

Hope this would clarify your confusions.

Thanks,
Lakemen
