Hi, I got a check from the insurance company worth of $1500, cause the estimate they gave for the damage in the car was $2000, and minus my deductible 500. I had asked another auto body shop before, he gave me 1800. I also heard from friends that you can actually find a place where they will do it without touching your deductible. Do you think I can negotiate even further. Or also, can I jest cash this check and not have the car fixed?! Because the check is basically written to my name. And it's expiring tomorrow. I didn't have time to further search for a mechanic. Please advise. Thanks, |
