I married my husband in 1990 and he died n 1996. I had him insured with Met Life shortly after we got married. I didn't find out he had been diagnsed. with hiv a while befor we got married. Met life did not ask me anything about his health when I got the policy. When he died and I got the death certificate I asked the funeral director is the insurance company going to pay the claim since it says he died of hiv. He said ANY insurance policy that is older than 2 years old not matter what the person had or has cannot be contested, so I got over 100.000 dollars. |

Yes they asked for the money back. The way the letter reads they are implying I have to pay them the entire amount all at once. |
