If you are licensed as a resident in California, you can first apply for a nonresident license in the state you plan to move to. Once you move there, then you simultaneously change your nonresident license to resident and your California license to nonresident. All your other nonresident licenses remain nonresident. Mostly it's a money thing to be licensed in multiple states. | MaxHerr | 2 yearss ago Kevin . . .
Any of the major companies will be a good training ground. Mostly it depends of the products you want to market. You won't get broad training in commercial insurance with Allstate, State Farm or Farmers, but at those companies, you'll certainly learn about life insurance, homeowner's and personal auto, and small business insurance.
If you're planning on working with any of those three companies, you'll also need your Life and Health Agent licenses, too. |
