my mom is 77 years old , healthier than myself says our dr. she would like to have some insurance for her children to use after she dies.any idea how much monthly it might cost and term or whole.thanks

Term or whole. Its for your mother to decide how much premium and other additional costs she can afford at this age.

Max, you should try selling insurance. It might help with your real world knowledge base. There are around 10 companies that will sell term to someone of this age.

10 out of 1500+ companies offering life insurance in the US . . . that sounds a lot like "you probably won't find much" to me. Why don't you help the OP and list their names instead of arguing with me? That's what makes us different. I help -- you throw mud.

I agree to MaxHerr's reply, and at the age of 77 you may have to high premium on the policy for your mom.
