I'm undecided if to start with selling medicare advantage plans or final expense.

Sell both at the same time. of course there are restrictions on selling at the same time in a clients house, but why not after selling them on a MA why not come back later and do FE

In most states now, it also requires two different licenses. Medicare Advantage requires an Accident & Health (or Disability) Insurance license. Final expense is a life insurance product and requires a Life license.
Anon is correct, federal marketing guidelines prohibit the sale or marketing of non-Medicare related products -- such as life insurance, long term care insurance, homeowners or auto -- on the same appointment as a Medicare health plan or Medicare Supplement insurance product.
And you can't try to sell them a box of fantastic laundry soap on the same appointment either.
