I believe my sister was gently coerced into changing her life insurance beneficiary from me - to handle her burial expenses - to her boyfriend. I do not think the insurance company will give me the date it happened, but it was within the last 5 months. Can I contest this? _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved.

sister - there is probably nothing you can do. Why don't you talk to her and see if you can find out more. Sister, first I am so very very sorry...I'm assuming your sister has passed away right? Yes, definately contest this immediately! I dont' know if it will do any good, but it will certainly slow down the payment...also is he willing to assume repsonsiblity for her expenses? Oh I am sorry...I didn't relize she may have passed..If so my heart goes out to you and your loved ones....I hope if you don't get far with contesting it that the boyfriend used it to pay for a proper burial...Again..I am sorry.

Then you will have to contest this.
