| More information is needed to answer your question. What type of policy is this. SBI if I'm not mistaken is an insurance company. That alone won't help. |

If your policy is some form of variable insurance, your insurer probably has a website on which you can register and track the value of your policy on a daily (or less frequent valuation) basis. If not, you will receive an annual, or more frequent, statement. You can also request an in-force illustration on most such policies.
If your policy is a form of (non-variable) universal life, you'll have to wait for the annual statement, or request an in-force illustration.
If your policy is whole life, you have the table of guaranteed values in the contract, which will be accurate (as of the end of each policy year listed) as long as you are paying all of your premiums on time.
The "problem" that can arise with variable and universal policies if cash values decline or become insufficient, is that your death benefit could reduce involuntarily and/or your policy could lapse without value. As cash value declines (or does not increase by at least as much as a stated "assumed interest rate"/AIR), the "net amount at risk" will increase and cause the internal expenses of the policy to increase. The premium you pay may not be sufficient to cover those internal expenses, which will cause the insurer to deduct the needed additional amount from the cash value, which further exacerbates the "problem", creating the potential for a massive downward spiral leading to the collapse of the policy.
This is the basis for the so-called "secondary guarantees" that appear in the more recent versions of these policies. If you at least pay 100% of your "scheduled" premiums on time and without fail, your policy will not lapse, even if it will never have more cash value in the future. Miss one payment and you could lose your insurance along with all the premiums you paid. _________________ CA-licensed P&C Broker-Agent and Life Agent. CA Insurance Lic #0596197. As far as I can tell, SBI Insurance is located in Mumbai, India. You need to contact them directly for the information you need. SBI is an insurance company in INDIA. We do not have access to that information here in America. You must contact the insurance company directly. They have a website, and if you are a policyowner, can register to use their site. The information you seek should be there. _________________ CA-licensed P&C Broker-Agent and Life Agent. Perhaps my comment above was unclear or illegible:

Check out their website for more information.
PS - SBI is not going out of business, WE DON'T HAVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THEM HERE. Why is this so hard to understand? _________________ CA-licensed P&C Broker-Agent and Life Agent.
