We keep on suggesting people to begin their search at home. If she had a life insurance she should have the policy document also. Try going through her papers, bank statements etc. for the trace of the insurance company's name. Steven has posted two great threads on the same issue. Hopefully those would suggest you some solutions too. ~Jeremy

Hello Meanbilliejean, Have you tried contacting your mother's last place of employment? I suspect that even she had a policy that has been paid-up by now. Therefore, you might not find its details in the bank statements. But every possible way is worth trying. Let us know if we can be of more help.
