how do i find my dads life insurance policy he passed away 2 years ago and after my mom died i visited him and he showed me a life insurance policy that he was filling out to give all of his kids money in case of his death and i didnt pay attenion to where it was at and now i can;t find it thanks

Was there a certain place in the house where he kept his important papers? Do you remember the name of the company? Have you checked with the company he has auto insurance with. If it was with Allstate or State Farm or any other large company, he could have gotten it from there. Also, ask any of his freinds since freinds usually recommend insurance agents if they like them. To locate the policy you may contact the employer of your father's last employment. He might have had the policy with the employer. Do you know his financial advisor? Contacting him or the existing family members may help you in finding the policy as well.
