Well, technically one isn't allowed to take a life insurance policy on the other if there is no insurable interest. Also, you need to be informed and sign the policy paper if someone tries to buy a life insurance on your name.
You may need to elaborate your query as why do you think that someone might have bought insurance on your name.

Slewis, if you suspect that someone has taken out a life insurance policy on your name fraudulently then you might contact the Medical Information Bureau.
Life insurers would run a check on the medical history of the insured for the medical underwriting purpose. You would get the record form the MIB site.
BTW, how old are you? The parents however can take out a policy on the name of their child below the age of 15 yrs.

Try and get in touch with the Fraud Investigation Department in the Medical Information Bureau if you think this has been done fraudulently.
Did you need to sign any documents given to you by anyone? If you are an adult your signature will be needed to get a policy on you. You can ask your parents if they have bought a life insurance policy on you. If you are below 15 years of age, you parents can buy a life policy on you.
OP give us your age and why you think someone might have taken out a policy on you. This will enable us to help you better.

I'm 22 and I think my gramma has a policy on me and it tranfers at age 25 I live in a diff state and she is just so greedy I dnt feel comfortable her having that can I somehow takeover the policy she had custody of me

Does that mean that the policy ownership would transfer from your grandmother to you upon your turning 25?
