Hi yodaddy, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. However, I also found it very hard to believe. Why there wasn't any autopsy performed on the dead? Why the death wasn't challenged either by you or by the deceased's family? Who issued the death certificate? When did it happen?
OP, I empathize with you but finding it very hard to believe the story. Is there something that I'm missing? |

| Boy, you can ring the bell and let the police know what you fear. Are you currently living with your step-dad? Why your mother's family has alienated you? Do you have anyone with whom you can share your thoughts? Do you know whether your father has received any insurance benefits or not? who was the beneficiary in her life plans? |

| I agree with SIMON. You can 'put a bug in someone's ear' with 'THIS' one. Is there anyone you trust, that you can take this information to? If you DO go to the police, hopefully they won't 'sit' on the information..hope they will investigate it. I'm SOOOO sorry, again, for your 'situation'. |

The OP should know about this..coz it seems that the OP was pretty much aware of the proceedings, every minute details as well as the possible outcome of this fatal incident.
| Quote: | | Also, he refused to take a polygraph test that we set up, an attorney called my sister the day of the test and told her that he was going to sue us for everything we got. | Not acceptable to me as well.
| Quote: | | We had so much proof, but not enough to have convicted, I don't think any of the investigators believed us. |
Please list what all proof you'd specifically like to stress upon.. _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

| It's a 'Catch 22'..in ALOT of ways. You 'can't do this UNLESS you have that'. Gosh........sounds like you're running out of options ( Police, Atty's, etc.). |

| Sometimes these things are best just being walked away from. He will get his day. Why ruin the rest of your life fighting this when you can move on and find peace. |

| I never really thought about THAT 'option', FIREYONE. I guess sometimes, in a difficult situation, it IS best to get on with your life....to "walk away", as you say. On the other hand, their 'hearts' aren't into 'stepping back' right now. |
