| He just passed Nov !,2008 I know he had life insurance but I don't who he had it with and also I need to know If i was still the beneficiary |

Rita, I'm extremely sorry to hear about your loss. I'm sure that he had left the information with some friend or relative. Is your mother still alive? She might know about the policies.
Meanwhile, I'll try to find some old discussion on this board on the same topic, which might serve you with the necessary inform. |

Thanks Jeorge, for going to all the time and trouble to post those for the OP that was very kind and helpful..
So sorry you lost your Daddy, check thru all his papers, a safe deposit box, his check book, employer or former employer, call the agent that handles his car/home ins. see if they sold him a policy ... It may take some detective work to find. _________________ **************************************

Lori, I think we have been discussing the same issue for quite sometime now on the life insurance forums. Hence, I thought that it'd be better to direct the members to the old discussions, where they can check the already available suggestions from the experts, than posting the same remedies over and over.
It was a small effort from my side to save time and trouble on both ends.  |
