How about if we just stop here by saying this is the MOST EXPENSIVE WAY to pay for any kind of insurance?

NOT TRUE! The only thing your lender will require is a FIRE INSURANCE policy to protect them against the total destruction of the home by fire.
And it's not about SHOPPING FOR INSURANCE ONLINE!
While many people can obtain quotes online, how many know that if they fail to insure their property for at least 80% of its value, they will be penalized when it comes time to collect on a claim.
An agent will tell you that. Most insurance consumers do not have the knowledge that is required to properly insure most of their assorted risks, from home, to auto, to life, to health, and more. But they go online, get a few quotes, and thanks you helpyouguys' shoddy advice, probably end up with the "cheapest" coverage they can find.
Well, here's some news that probably comes as no surprise: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! And it is especially true in insurance. Obviously, no one should be paying more for their coverage than necessary, but I don't look for "cheapest" either. And I generally don't recommend "cheapest" to my clients. I try to find them the lowest cost coverage that properly meets their need.
CHEAPEST never does that.

They may "love" shopping on the Internet, but their time and money will be better spent finding a local agent who can do this for them in a matter of minutes.
The facts are the facts. The majority of people still prefer the service they get from an agent than from a website.
