Stolen guitar...will homeowners Ins cover it?

Posted: Mon Jan 03, 2011 10:01 pm   Post subject: Stolen guitar...will homeowners Ins cover it?   Hi and thanks in advance to anyone who can answer this for me. I am a musician. A couple weeks ago I came home from a gig, pulled into my yard which is fenced and gated, and neglected to take my brand new $3000 Les Paul guitar out of the open bed of my pickup truck. The next morning it was gone. I play music on the weekends, but have a full time day job. I make a little money from playing but not much. Will HO Ins cover this loss, or will they see it as a business item since I do sometimes make money from it? You could simply not mention what the guitar is used for. I see no harm in that.
