Endorsement

Hi friends, I have just a small question: does the wording of an endorsement must not conflict with the wording of the policy to which it is attached?

Thanks:)

Why does it feel like I'm doing someone's home work.

I'm not an expert but in my opinion the endorsement wordings should not contradict the policy wordings apart from coverage.

The endorsement would cover that the actual policy is not supposed to cover. For example , an earthquake endorsement will cover damages due to an earthquake and earth movement, which the actual homeowners policy (to which it is attached) would not cover.

The endorsement works based on the actual policy, so the wordings concerned with the basic terms and conditions shouldn't be conflicting.
