I had been away for work for about a month, and placed my home under a caretaker. Now, on returning I find a portion of the first floor has molded due to a leaky plumbing. I am pretty sure it wasn't there when I left. What can I do? Shall i make a claim for restoration? Will I need to relocate now, and will the insurer pay the costs?

Please suggest a way out for me too. I'm afraid that the insurers will not pay me for the damage.
