My insurance agent of 21 years never offered me drain and sump pump coverage i have a basement and I had a sump pump failure which flooded my basement.I was not covered for my loss. WAS MY AGENT RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPLY THIS COVERAGE TO ME?

Did you let your agent know you had these items? Did you read your policy to determine if you had the coverage you needed? Did your agent offer you plane insurance? That is, how is your agent supposed to know you had those items?
