I have flood Ins that Chase has takeing out and my question is it legal for them to charge me 3 times as much as it would be if I took it out on my own? :(

Yes. If they force place a policy on you and they do a write your own policy, they can charge for that. It is better for you to call and get your own quote. Any place that you get a quote from, the price will be exactly the same for the same coverages. The government regulates these premiums and they cannot be different rates for different insurance companies.
