Hi! This morning, we noticed a water damage in the ceiling of our garage..it is damp and discolored. There is a bathroom upstairs and an air conditioning unit. We can't find the source of it and it happened suddenly because we didn't notice that marks in the ceiling before. Will the home insurance cover the damage of the repair of the floor, ceiling and even mold treatment to prevent if from forming

Don't know if it's covered as we don't know the cause of loss and this is what triggers coverage. Mold is usually excluded.

It will depend upon the coverage of your house insurance .As, my house was also having leakage problem , and my house insurance covered it.

In most situations a loss of that sort would be covered. However, as tcope mentioned without knowing the specifics about the damages and the policy that insures your home there is no way for us to give a simple yes or no answer.

It depends on the coverage options included in your insurance policy.
