Hail Damage Claim Deadline in Georgia

Hail damage claim from almost 2 years ago - Trying to get the recoverable depreciation and probably will need to request increase in claim amount. No work done yet. I know it is my fault for waiting so long so I cant blame anyone but myself.

Thanks for any information on this

My questions are:
1-Is there a deadline for getting the recoverable depreciation?
2-Is there a deadline for getting an increase to the adjusters estimate?
3-Does the work have to be finished, started, or contracted by the dead line to get either?

Claims manager said Farm Bureau’s rule is 180 days to complete the work but that they give a 2 year window as a curtesy.

He also said the work has to be completed by the 2 year loss anniversary date to get the recoverable depreciation.

State: Georgia
Company: Farm Bureau
Loss date 3-18-13

Thanks again for any information on this situation

What information do you need other then the answers directly from your carrier?

I want to know if what the Insurance co is telling me is correct. I was told by an Adjuster from another company that as long as I have a contract to start the work by the 2 year loss anniversary I can still get the recoverable depreciation. Are there State laws that govern these issues?

Also bc I am cutting it so close (my fault) I might not have time to have the adjuster come look at any issues that arise during the job that will increase the cost before the 2 year anniversary on Wednesday next week. What are my rights to ask for additional funds if the cost is higher than the adjusters estimate? Does the adjuster have to personally witness and approve any increases? A roofer said he will take pictures of any issues and that the insurance company should pay if the cost is higher than the estimate (minus the deductible of course) even after the 2 year loss anniversary date.
