I prefer you should go for reapplication this will cost less for you instead of renewing.

Most likely you will have to re-appy with the company again to get the coverage. Where are you from if you do not mind me asking. What company did you have it with and one more question, has your health changed in any way shape or form from the first time you applied. This will better help me answer your question.

Oh I just read that again. I doubt a company will let you renew an old policy that has been lapsed for 2 years. You are going to have to re-appy. If you need help in that area....please answer the questions above and I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Annually I used to pay $1,750.00 for the above mentioned insurance premium.

It mean if you want to continue your old policy then you have to pay $1,750.00 * 2 year = $3,500.00 amount and if you buy a new policy it will cost only $1,750.00. I hope you will go for new one.

I am thinking you will prob have no choice but to go with a new one. Is the company even offering a reinstatement?

This is why you should look carefully when you are buying. One thing about the insurance that I sell is that it is guaranteed renewable for life. The only way that we can cancel your policy is by failure to pay the bill. I would go with a new policy. Frankly, insurance is their to help you when you have problems. If a company is going to cancell your policy, because something like that happens, then they are not the type that I would do business with. One thing that many people dont realize when they buy insurance, is that they are looking at the price. They never look at a companies history or credidentials. Would it have been worth paying 20 dollars more a month to still have your insurance?

Randy If tode renew his old insurance he have to pay $1,750.00 * 2 year = $3,500.00.

And if he buy a new insurance then he need to pay $1,750.00 only.
Which one is better for him? :)

Obviously new one thats is right we have discussed it earlier in this topic. :)

Most states have statutory requirements regarding reinstatement of health insurance coverage following a lapse. If this has been out of force for about two years or so, it's unlikely an insurer would consider reinstatement. They would normally ask for it to be submitted as new insurance business, and the insured would typically be underwritten as a new insured.

If you could tell me what state you actually LIVE in, we could be a bit more specific as to your rights. Every state has their own set of laws and rules, and they can vary pretty dramatically from state to state.

Hope you can respond!
