hi..I am interested to know abt the bodily injury coverage. Does this one cover me when I am driving my friend's car? also would like to know whether this one would protect me if I'm accompanying someone else in his car ? Please forward your comments over here. Telemacus99

Thanks Telemacus, its a real good question to ask!
I was also thinking about whether I'd be covered by this insurance if I meet with an accident while walking at a distance! truly wondering as to what might happen to me in that case.

Dear Friends, in my opinion bodily injury liability policies covers you for losses arising out of accidents that involve any of the cars that you've enlisted with your insurer. Its not only about you being covered, rather all of the family members whom you've permitted to drive the car or are usually driving your car would be covered under such a policy.

Likewise, suppose you're also driving a car that belongs to one of your closed friends or relatives, then also you'd most likely be covered under their policy unless their policy docs state otherwise. Such liability coverages usually protect the named escorts. Hope you got the point, Fatman

My friend, believe me the only thing that matters over here is not any form of bodily injury...rather what matters is the party at-fault!

So, in this case your bodily injury protection will cover you only when the losses are an outcome of any death or injury that can be regarded as your fault. I am sure you should only be accused when you're the at-fault party ie. over here you're the driver in this case. Stay in touch! Juanita
