home contents insurance claim help me please

i was broken in to in april and my insurance has been a right pain, then today i got a letter saying everything was on hold because of a dexter season 3 dvd box set i brought heres the storyi brought dexter season 3 around christmas time just after as i new it had finished airing in the US so search for it on ebay, and found one brought it through a friends acount as i didnt have paypal due to them kicking me of ages ago and my acount number (for bank card) and address is bared :( anyway turns out dexter season 3 isnt out untill this month so i must of had a copy :( i asked my friend a week ago for a recipt but she went mad and fell out with me i had know idea why when begging her again turns out she used her ass of a ex/boyfriend acount (which i presumed was hers) and he went mad at her and did some pritti horrible things anyway so ive told them she wont but havnt told them the full story why as i only found out today (so complicated) and shes now not talking to me as shes a mess as shes doin a flit (move) without telling him as shes sceared hes going to take the kids anyway ive then done a tiny bit of research and people have been buying dexter season 3 since end of april (couldnt go back any further) so that just proves you can and could get it before auguest this year (maybe not legal) so now im stressing as dont know what todo ive printed of the ebay feedback which shows over 7 buyers buying season 3 and saying thanks, ive now had togo to the doctors for stress, i mean i have it in black and white that over 7 people brought this set over 2months before release date.

might i again stress the fact i had prove of 95% of items the dvds were the hardest and that it finished airing in dec 2008, which was why i brought it didnt relize i had a fake boxset (it might not of been) but i have found severl sellers and double that in buyers who have brought and recived (as ive seen feedback) going back 3months ago! ive printed them all of so surly that would prove the insurance is wrong about not being able to get it yet. im also now under the doctors with sleeping pills and anti depressants due to stress from this.
