No, I'm familiar with the term, just not that an insurer can raise a rate based on it.

WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY TAG REINSTATED .I HAVE HAD INSURANCE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW. THE TAG WAS SUSPENEDED UNTIL AUGUST 26,2010 .IM IN SALES I NEED MY CAR TO DRIVE WHAT CAN I DO NOW.oR IM GONNA LOOSE MY JOB AND HAVE TO RETURN THE CAR BACK TO THE BANK.

Contact your local DMV, or states Dept of Ins. they would be the only ones that could answer this question.

| You state you had a "lapse in Insurance". However....you ALSO say you've "had Insurance for several months now. I had that problem, at one time. Tags were suspended because I didn't have Insurance (just couldn't make the payment). As soon as I 'caught up' with my Insurance policy, and had proof that I Insurance again, I was able to re-instate my tags. |

| (Just a comment).....a friend of mine was pulled ovr for a DUI (her 2nd one). She had no insurance coverage on the vehicle (I knew she didn't). I'll tell ya...she has some MAJOR fines and will get her DL suspended. I told her so!! You would think people would listen when 'you' tell them something!! |

i got pulled over for a suspended tags which i didnt know was suspended, the officer told me to apply for a new tag and he will throw out the citation for me but not sure if i can get a new tag if the old one was suspended

| Usually when it comes to Tags, Insurance (that kind of thing..) you would receive something in the mail. (Putting my '2 cents' in again) Things concerning 'your' vehicle (tags, etc),.....how would people NOT know if something is 'wrong' (lack of a better word)? If your Insurance expired, Registration is out of date,..that kind of thing. I would think people would be more responsible. (I'm not saying this TOWARD the OP. Just saying this 'in general'). |

I got a ticket for proof of no insurance they asked me to bring all my insurance records to court house so I did the court said I gave them adequate proof and dimissed the ticket and court date but last night got pulled over and car impounded for suspended tags so what do I do now? Please help thanks
