I think it is a good idea also. My hubby and i wanted to do the same for my mother in-law. I would have done this on my mother but I never acted in time. I would not care if my kids got an insurance policy and and got a leg up after I am gone.At least my death would benifit thwm in some way and might ease their grief at my passing. In my opinion, insurance is more than providing final expenses.
